Emma Emerson
Intern
Emma joined the Building Futures team as an intern in 2009. She is leading on the debates programme, and is responsible for their organisation and execution.
Prior to joining Building Futures, Emma studied Architecture at Brighton University, and graduated in the Summer of 2009. She is currently balancing her time at Building Futures with a position as an architectural assistant at a London practice. Emma is planning to continue her architectural education in London next year.
Emma’s interests are broad and far reaching. Since working at Building Futures she has broadened those interests further- expanding her knowledege of the more socio-political aspects of the subject. She has also developed a keen sense of sustainability in architecture, and this is something she would like to pursue in her continuing education.
