After the Party : What will be the true legacy of the London Games?

Tuesday 7 June, 6.30pm – 7.45pm

A thriving place is more than a sum of its parts. The Olympic Games have captured the national imagination, throwing down the gauntlet for the development of place. What lessons have the Games taught us about regeneration and community?

Building Futures, in partnership with RIBA London and Design for London, present a panel discussion looking at who will live, work and play in the East End post 2012.

The debate will be chaired by Dickon Robinson of Building Futures, and will feature:

  • Hadrian Garrard – Create London
  • Eleanor Fawcett – Design for London
  • Bob Allies – Allies and Morrison
  • David Goldblatt – Journalist and writer
  • Peter Neal – Formerly of CABE.
