Robert co-founded BACA in 2003. He is a qualified architect and designer with experience in high quality design ranging from housing, education through to bridge design. He began his career at Rivington Studios and was a part of the award winning team responsible for the Newington Housing Scheme for Peabody.

He has worked with Birds Portchmouth Russum (BPR)as a job architect, CABE and DFES ands has worked as a freelance designer with Paul Mullins and the Harrison & Sutton Partnership.

Robert has a well rounded skills base and a portfolio of innovative design work and strong theoretical work in a number of fields. BACA are working closely with DEFRA on a number of research pieces looking at the future of residential form in areas under threat from flood risk.
