Dominic has over 17 years experience on large scale urban and architectural projects. Dominic works freely between the disciplines of architecture and urban design and brings to the practice skills in conceptual design, strategic urban thinking and detailed design. At S333 he has been the director in charge of a broad cross-section of projects, including large scale residential led mixed use developments such as the award winning ‘Schots 1&2 Ciboga Terrain’ and ‘Tarling Regeneration Block 3’ projects, as well as masterplans in Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway and the UK.

Currently he is directing the development of a 9 hectare sustainable urban quarter in Plymouth, a residential project at Elephant and Castle and a mixed use scheme in Bloomsbury; both in London. He is leading a research team exploring the contemporary conditions influencing the success and failure of intense forms of housing and urbanism in Britain. He is developing new initiatives in school design in England and the Architecture of Innovation in Europe and the Far East.
Prior to S333 he worked with Farrell’s and Company in London where he worked in the Company Development Group. Later he spent six years as Senior Design Associate with Wiel Arets Architects and Associates in the Netherlands.

He has been a member of the RIBA Housing Group advising on policy and is a design review panel member for CABE and the West Midlands. He has judged a number of international awards and competitions and has contributed to TV debates in the UK, Netherlands and new Zealand. He has been visiting tutor at the graduate programme Housing and Urbanism at the Architectural Association in London since 2001 where he has also been liaising on developments in Mexico, Shanghai and Hanoi.
